In 2018 I was not in a good shape. I have suffered an extensive liver damage due to hospital mistreatment in Asia, and as a result I have lost nearly half of my hair mass. It was right out scary seeing my hair coming out in handfuls, going down the drain.

In this post I would like to share what helped me to recover my hair and scalp health.

I used a hair oil treatment topically once a week. I mixed 20 drops of Peppermint, 20 drops of Rosemary and 10 drops of Geranium essential oils into 100ml jojoba/argan/castor oil mix. I massaged this concoction into my scalp and a little bit on the length of my hair. Not much, otherwise it is a struggle to shampoo it out. I left the oil on my head overnight, protecting my pillows with a towel. I washed my hair normally the next day. To boost the effect, I took 2 drops of each essential oil (Rosemary, Peppermint, Geranium) in a veggie capsule every day. After about 2 months I started to see results: lots and lots of baby hairs! After the first baby hairs appeared, I still took the oils internally for about a month. Now I only do the oils treatment once a week.

Of course, hair health – like everything else – comes from inside, so I make sure, that I supplement every day. This way my body receives all the nutrients it needs to stay healthy and to avoid any deficiency. Long term nutrient deficiency can lead to numerous chronic illnesses, such as anaemia, thyroid problems, leaky gut syndrome and so on. Did you know that at least 60% of cultivated soils in the world have growth-limiting problems with mineral-nutrient deficiencies and toxicities, and about 50% of the world population suffers from micronutrient deficiencies? And this does not even take into consideration the nutrient loss due to transportation and storage of our food or the shockingly low nutrient content of the most recent, fast growing fruit and vegetable variations.

Long story short, our food is not what it used to be. It is much less nutritious than it was say 30 years ago, therefore supplementation is key and necessary for everyone as a baseline of long-term health. Even with the most careful planning of our meals, they just do not cover our daily need of every nutrient. And who has the time and energy to carefully plan every single meal every day, right? If you are vegan, gluten or lactose intolerant or have any other limitation in your diet, even more reason to consider supplementation.

I personally use these supplements: Life Long Vitality Pack

The above mentioned 3 essential oils are the basic oils that support hair health. I add some other beneficial ones into my mix. You can add Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Frankincense, Cedarwood and other great oils to your blend to boost the effect or to have the fragrance you love.

If you would like to receive a free sample of my hair oil blend, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

I recommend keeping your oil mix in a tightly closed amber tinted glass bottle to ensure its purity and long-term potency.
