Welcome to the first post in my new Oil Blend Recipe Series, where I share simple, natural blends you can create at home to support your daily self-care rituals. I’m starting with one of my absolute favourites: the Anti-Aging Face Oil Blend.

This blend is gentle, nourishing, and designed to support the skin’s natural renewal process. Over time, many of us notice dryness, fine lines, uneven pigmentation, or dullness. While there’s no such thing as “perfect skin,” there are ways to nourish it in a way that feels grounding, supportive, and deeply restorative.

This recipe is especially wonderful for:

✓ Hydrating the skin
✓ Reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines
✓ Supporting more even-looking pigmentation
✓ Soothing blemish-prone areas
✓ Creating a soft, radiant glow

Ingredients (DoTerra CPTG Essential Oils)

5 drops Lavender – calms the skin + soothing effect
10 drops Frankincense – supports a more youthful, even-looking complexion
5 drops Myrrh – deeply nourishing and grounding
3 drops Copaiba – gentle, soothing, especially for sensitive skin
3 drops Clary Sage – supports balance (great for hormone-related skin imbalances)
Yarrow | Pomegranate (DoTerra's YarrowPom Blend) – rich, powerful botanical blend known for skin vitality

You can add these drops into a 10ml amber roller bottle (please make sure that the ball is made of stainless steel and not plastic) and then top it up with preferably with Evening Primrose carrier oil (but can be any other carrier that works well with your skin type).

The roller bottle and the carrier oil can be purchased online (ebay or similar), just make sure that they are high quality.

Please make sure that you only use Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade (CPTG) essential oils or equal quality.
Please reach out to me in email liz@greenomlet.eco if you are unsure about quality, I'm happt guide you how to find these.

How to Use

Massage the blend into dry or slightly damp skin.

For extra hydration:

✨ Mist your face with rose water or another floral hydrosol first.

When oil is applied over damp skin, it helps lock in even more moisture and gives the skin a beautifully dewy finish.

You can roll the blend on your face and gently massage it into your skin once or twice a day as part of your normal skincare routine.
